I’m a certified broadcast meteorologist and I absolutely love researching, predicting, and forecasting the weather! I’m currently working in sales as an agent at Spectrum, but I put together forecasts for past viewers in my spare time. Here’s a little about my journey to become the person I am today.

All my life, I’ve been fascinated by the weather. My own mother tells me that I fell in love with it when I was 5 years old. I would take our home video camera and film lightning during the summer storms in Clearwater, FL. When I was 7, I saw my very first tornado in person when a dirt devil came within 20 feet of the car I was in before it changed direction and swerved across the street. It then tore off parts of the roof of a furniture store as we drove off. Florida State University is where I went to school for my Bachelor’s of Science in Meteorology. I joined the FSU Marching Band and the Catholic Student Union, both of which helped shape my outlook in life along with my career.

My first station was WTVY in Dothan, AL. I was only there for 6 months before being let go because I simply wasn’t good enough in front of the camera. After that, a news director in Wichita Falls gave me a second chance and I ended up working there 4 years before moving to Lubbock, TX. In Lubbock, I worked with Ron Roberts who helped oversee my attempts to get an AMS CBM seal. Once I had that, Willinger Talent Agency took me on as a client and helped me get my first big break with a weekend position in Oklahoma City at KFOR in 2014.

Since then, I’ve been a traffic tracker, a chief meteorologist, and even a sales agent, but my TV career was derailed in 2024 by alcoholism. While I used it at first just to help me sleep at night, it ended up becoming an addiction that needed time to overcome. It cost me my job at KATV in Little Rock, AR, a stain that has been tough to scrub off the resume.

Now, I embrace sobriety (sober since January 2026) as a point of pride and hope to get back into the TV field once again!
